Anybody can Practise Yoga

Many people are under the impression that yoga is a complicated pursuit where artistic contortions are practised, and you may ask yourself whether anybody can do yoga.

Well, the answer is a clear YES. Anybody can start practising yoga! And that also means, it is never too late! The participants in our courses for seniors, for example, are often people who start to practise yoga late in life and still experience it as an enrichment of their lives.

In our courses for BEGINNERS we start by practising the basic yoga positions as an introduction for newcomers. The participants can practise simple exercises to mobilise and experience their bodies in a whole new way. The interaction of movement and immobility creates a deep new feeling of well-being.

These experiences are further developed in the ADVANCED course where more demanding exercises are practised. An adult practising yoga becomes more flexible, balanced and develops more vitality.

Yoga is, of course, especially important when the body has started to send alarm signals such as back problems, tension or chronic pain , or in the form of inner restlessness, low energy or concentration deficits. In these cases, significant lasting effects and prevention can be achieved through yoga.

We also offer courses for EXPECTANT MOTHERS in which pregnant women can prepare themselves for the birth of their child by practising selected exercises. This is also beneficial for the unborn baby and can considerably facilitate the delivery.

The courses for CHILDREN and STUDENTS offer children and school children exercises that are adapted to their specific needs enabling them to develop more body awareness and inner strength. This helps them concentrate on learning and overcome examination anxiety. Yoga is beneficial for everybody and increases the quality of life of anyone who practises it!
